VILLA LA TORRE

“VILLA LA TORRE”

History, Towers, and Views

A true palimpsest of eras. The central building is of ancient origin. In the 13th century, the Tower was built for defense and lookout purposes. It was the residence of the Camaldolese friars, then a strategic military center, and finally the home of the Nuns until the 19th century.

The fireplace and suspended bathroom date back to the Ginori period, between the 19th and 20th centuries.
